Description

Treedom Villas and Vardos is a unique eco-friendly destination offering guests self-catering accommodation in the little town of Wilderness, on the stunning coast in the heart of the Garden Route.

Guests have a choice of booking the 4-sleeper Treehouse Villa or one of our Vardo, Gypsy Wagons. The boho-chic, triple-storey Treehouse Villa comprises 2 open-plan bedrooms with a queen-size bed or 2 single beds or a king-size bed, 1 bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and living area with a TV with DStv and Netflix streaming services.

The Owl Vardo and Gypsy Vardo Wagons are furnished with queen-size beds, The Owl Vardo has a child-only bed under the main bed for 2 with fairy lights for them to enjoy. Both Vardos and have private bathrooms. Each Vardo has a full kitchen equipped for self-catering, Wi-Fi access, outdoor sun beds, swings, and a private fairy-lit greenhouse with private braai facilities.

A communal heart-shaped plunge pool is available for use.

Guests can enjoy dinners in the ‘love tunnel’. Imagine a private dinner in the forest under a natural handmade woven tunnel with seasonal menus, twinkling lanterns, and a magical atmosphere. Menus are bespoke and designed per dinner, and booking 2 days in advance is essential.

Wilderness offers various restaurants and a variety of activities such as water sports, whale watching, horse riding, canoeing, and hiking to the waterfalls as well as mountain biking trails, paragliding, and abseiling. Guests can also visit the Malachite Bird Hide in the Wilderness National Park for bird watching.
