Description
Two Trees on Piece of Africa is a peaceful bushveld retreat just 30 km northeast of Pretoria, tucked away in the scenic Boekenhoutskloof area. Located on a small farm within the greater Dinokeng region, the property is only 20 km from the Nyati Gate, offering easy access to the Dinokeng Game Reserve’s wildlife and attractions.
This self-catering treehouse is designed for 2 guests and features a loft-style bedroom furnished with a double bed, as well as a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided for convenience.
The open-plan living area downstairs includes a 2-seater couch and a compact kitchenette, equipped with a fridge-freezer, 2-plate gas stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Additional features include a firepit, braai area, and outdoor seating. Guests are encouraged to bring along a picnic basket and swimming towels to enjoy the picnic table in the veld and the shared Hippo Hole swimming pool.
The farm is home to an array of wildlife including wildebeest, blesbok, impala, and other small game roaming freely in the area. With a bit of luck, guests may even spot giraffes nearby, visible directly from the deck. Evenings are filled with the calls of jackals and lions, while the cry of fish eagles can be heard overhead during the day. Two Trees is a haven for nature lovers, wildlife photographers, and bird enthusiasts. Please note that game viewing is only possible on foot.
The location is perfect for those who enjoy nature and adventure. Explore the nearby Dinokeng Game Reserve or take a day trip to the historic town of Cullinan, well-known for its diamond mine tours, heritage sites, art galleries, antique shops, and local restaurants. For thrill-seekers, Adventure Zone offers a variety of outdoor activities, while the Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary is just a short drive away.
