Just a note: no hairdryers can be used and because there is just solar, the lighting is not very good for readers, even to play games. There are oil lamps, but unfortunately no oil in them and battery lamps are very dim. Also, rather take a power bank with you. And take enough wood for the hot tub. Beautiful view and location and great value for money. A beautiful secluded cottage 15 km outside Ladismith. The cottage is well decorated and has a well-stocked kitchen. It's perfect for 2 couples. Loved our stay here.

Nice place to spend a few days! Lovely cottage, lovely scenery. Two issues. In winter, the solar panels are unable to charge the battery fully, so the fridge stopped working soon after sunset. The washing-up area for dishes is not very user-friendly. Other than that, a lovely place to stay. Nice fireplace in the lounge. Great to braai indoors when the weather was cold and wet!
