Description

Uitvlugt is a spacious, lifestyle resort nestled on the banks of the Elands River, bordering the popular tourist destination of Dinokeng Big-5 Game Reserve. With an easy drive of 66 km from Pretoria, guests can break away for a relaxing bush holiday in the company of family and friends without travelling far.

The accommodation comprises 7 stone and thatch cottages that are perfect for a rustic break-away.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, but the option for breakfast and dinner is also available at an additional fee. The meals can either be served in the large dining hall or delivered to the cottage.

20 campsites are available to camping enthusiasts. Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels, and bath towels are provided.

The lodge is set far into the bush so guests will not hear city noises, only jackal, hippo, ostrich, and any other animals that inhabit the farm. A large swimming pool with water slides, pool volleyball, jumping pillow, zipline, wall climbing, fishing, cycling, sand volleyball, socks, film screenings, several hiking trails, etc. keeps the children busy every day while the parents relax wonderfully.

The resort also caters for schools, students, youth camps, family reunions, private functions or weddings.
