"Hermanus is beautiful. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, so you can keep within you budget. Safe and clean."
"Hermanus in October was stunning with all the natural wild flowers in bloom a truly amazing sight. This year the whales were shy, we only spotted a few. Lots to do and see."
Fantastiese natuurskoon. My enigste kritiek is dat daar nie by Proteastraat 'n bord is wat aandui waar die wandelpad weer hervat by Sim-straat nie."
"Hermanus is beautiful, you can walk in the town till around 10 pm without any fear of being mugged or anything like that."
"A very picturesque town with character. Variety of scenic places to visit and great for whale watching in season. Wonderful views of coastline. Plenty of good restaurants to chose from."
"Onrus is beautiful. Having the coastal boardwalk is wonderful. The mountains are superb. Having the OK MiniMark is great because you don't have to go into Hermanus unless you absolutely have to."
"I am a bit disappointed that Hermanus as a town does not do more to advise tourists regarding the status and location of the whales. all throughout town our attempts to find out if whales has been sighted, when and where has been met with incongruent replies. Hermanus can really up its game by making more information available re the migration status of the whales during season, and keep their residents abreast to educate tourists. Maybe main lookout points could publish last sighting etc."
