"Baie rustige dorp met goeie, vriendelike diens en goeie akkommokdasie en kos. Die dorp se infrastruktuur kort egter dringende aandag. Strate is in baie swak toestand."
"Oudtshoorn het 'n spesiale plek in ons hart, hoewel ons nie daar sal wil woon nie weens die somertemperatuur. Die afgelope naweek was ek teleurgesteld oor hoe vuil die dorp is. Daar sal regtig 'n groot poging aangewend moet word van die stadsvaders om 'n kultuur te vestig om die dorp skoon en netjies te hou."

"De Rust bly maar 'n pragtige dorpie, en dis besonder mooi en stil nadat die son gesak het. Dit voel veilig en jy kan oral stap. Maak net seker jy het voorraad, want ons was verlore sonder enige broodjies of happies. Winkels maak vroeg toe en het bitter min voorraad. Grumpy Goat was 'n redder en die kos was besonder lekker. Ronel en Elize se pizzas is ook perfek vir die honger reisiger. Dankie vir al die inwoners wie ons bygestaan het met ons pap battery! Almal help vir almal daar!"
"Driving from Addo to Oudtshoorn and then on to Cape Town is breathtaking. The scenery, mountains and passes are worth every mile. Oudtshoorn is beautiful. The nostalgic and quirky town along with the places of interest, make this town a worthwhile stop on your journey."
