House Rules

Please note that the house offers self-catering accommodation and therefore does not include meals or cleaning services.
The owners and their pets live in a freestanding apartment behind the house on the premises and since the pets roam freely, other pets are unfortunately not allowed. The pets are however kept aside where possible and will not bother guests unnecessarily during their stay.
49 on Main is secured with closed circuit television. No cameras inside the house for privacy at all times.
The house rules are handed over to guests upon check-in or can be forwarded via WhatsApp before arrival.
Disclaimer forms are signed upon check-in.
A bag of wood is provided. Extra wood for the fireplaces is available at an extra cost per bag.
Bed linen and one towel per guest are provided upon arrival.
Basic cleaning products and equipment such as a broom, mop, bucket and trash bags are available in the house.
Linen is not changed daily, but a washing machine is available. There is no tumble dryer.
Basic necessities during load shedding include rechargeable lights, candles, and a UPS for the WiFi. The gas stove still works during load shedding.
