The Darling Apartment can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children and comprises a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, twin basins, a double-headed shower and a bath, a loft bedroom with 2 single beds, a kitchen, and a lounge. This unit has its own private entrance. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an electric oven, a fridge-freezer, and a microwave. The lounge area features a cosy indoor braai and a Smart HD TV with DStv for entertainment. For a touch of charm, the suite boasts a Juliette balcony, offering a delightful view. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, and the property has a solar panel system, providing backup power during loadshedding. With its well-appointed amenities and thoughtful layout, this apartment ensures a pleasant stay for all guests.

House Rules
Strict no pets policy, except registered service animals, for which proof will be required.
The outside of the property is monitored by 24-hour CCTV cameras to protect the guests as well as the owners' assets.
To arrange security clearance to the entrance gates of the estate, before your arrival, we require the following details of all the vehicles that form part of your booking (no later than 7 days before arrival):
1. Vehicle Make & Model
2. Vehicle Colour
3. Vehicle Registration
4. Driver Name and Surname
5. Total quantity of occupants per vehicle (including children and babies)
No parties/functions allowed
No day visitors during your stay with us
Please note that the use of the swimming pool is only available to guests of the Beach House. The Darling Family Suite does not have access to the swimming pool; however, the swimming pool at the Shelley Point Community Centre is within a mere 300m walking distance.
* Currently, there is no more Loadshedding (but it could change at short notice). We do have a solar system that will keep all plugs & lights on through loadshedding. However, please refrain from using high-power appliances during loadshedding, as this will drain the inverter quickly and you will be left “in the dark”
Example - tumble dryer, iron, kettles, toaster & microwave
The oven will not operate during loadshedding, as it is not connected to the inverter. The stove plates can be used, as this is a gas stove, but will need to be lit with a lighter. The ignition flints are connected to the mains as well.
Parking Arrangement - Please, no parking on the pavements or neighbours' driveways. (Heavy fines imposed)
The key to the back gate, to access the boardwalk to the beach, is on the front door key. Please keep this gate locked at night or when you are not at the house.
Please ensure that all windows and doors are closed and locked when you leave the house.
Please take note of the staging photos, ie inventory photos, throughout the house and ensure that everything is there as per the photographs. Any broken/missing items at checkout will be for your account.
No kicking of soccer/rugby balls in the backyard. We have suffered severe damage to our garden and fixtures.
The beach is ideal for ball kicking & along the Golden Mile road (In Shelley Point Estate, approximately 600m from our house) there is a dedicated sports area for ball sports.
Please place the pool cleaner & HTH floater back into the pool when the pool is not in use and before departure. Ensure that it is plugged in correctly so that it is fully operational.
Shelley Point Community Centre is at the gate closest to our facility, with a beautiful coffee shop, bar area (sometimes live entertainment), golf shop & a pool. Enquire at the golf shop for tags to make use of the pool area.

Description
Beach House can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests (including children) and comprises 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining room, lounge and braai area. The bedrooms are all furnished with queen-size beds and offer en-suite bathrooms fitted with a toilet, basin and shower. The main bedroom's en-suite bathroom has a bath as well. Bathroom amenities are available. Each bedroom has a Smart HD TV, a dressing or work table with a hairdryer, a bar fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The open-plan kitchen, dining room, lounge and braai area open up to the pool courtyard and back garden with pitch and putting greens. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, double-door fridge-freezer, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The Smart HD TV in the lounge has a full DSTV package for viewing pleasure, or you can use your own login details to access YouTube, Netflix, Prime and other applications. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, and the property has a solar panel system, providing back-up power during loadshedding. A viewing deck on the third story will give you access to the most amazing sunrises and sunsets over the bay, with a 270-degree ocean view. The crystal clear pool is situated in the pool courtyard for protection from the wind. A 50m walk along the boardwalk takes you to the beach. Ideal for beach days, fishing, kite surfing, hitting a few on the golf course, fun with the family on the tennis court, or just lazing in the back garden with a book.
