Description

AfriCamps at Oakhurst offers a unique boutique glamping experience situated on a large working dairy farm in Wilderness along the Garden Route and covers an expansive 640 hectares, making this ideal for a memorable holiday with family and friends while being surrounded by the Outeniqua Mountains.

This camp offers guests a choice of 8 lovely tents, each with a capacity of 5 guests. Each structured tent comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living space features a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, there is a dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace. The tent opens up onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities as well as a wood-burning hot tub.

The camp creates a tranquil farm experience with cows and horses grazing in the lush green fields. Guests can go hiking and view the farm’s waterfall or they can go fishing or canoeing in the farm dam Alternatively, guests can fully relax and pre-book a spa treatment.
