Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R6500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

A 4x4 vehicle is required to access Aloha Estate, with tyre pressure reduced by 1.2–1.5 bars. Two-wheel-drive vehicles are not permitted on the estate, as they cause damage to the roads.

The swimming pool at the house has no safety features, and use of the pool and associated amenities is strictly at guests’ own risk. Guests are asked to thoroughly wash or rinse off all tanning lotions before using the bathroom towels or bed linen, as staining may occur. Any damage or staining that cannot be removed will be charged to the guest.

Should the property be booked by a group of youngsters, guests under the age of 25 are not permitted without parental or adult supervision.

Due to the remote location of the house, brief interruptions in the electricity supply may occur, which can temporarily affect water pumps and water availability.

There is a compulsory daily staff tip of R70 per day for each of the 2 housekeepers, this includes your day of arrival and departure. Ensure you have enough Rands cash on your day of departure date. Antonio is the gardener and also cleans the pool, braai, and outside area, there is no compulsory staff tip for him, however, a gratuity is always welcome. Their working hours are 7:00 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 12 on Saturdays. If you would like them to work Saturday afternoon you need to pay them R75 for the afternoon and if you would like them to work on Sundays and Public Holidays then you need to pay them R150 each for those days. Their working hours include a 1-hour lunch.

Guests are required to bring food and drinks, drinking water, charcoal, firelighters, adaptors, and items of a personal nature.

A refundable breakage deposit is required prior to arrival and will be refunded within two weeks of departure, subject to any deductions for damage.

Late check-out is available on request only, subject to the availability of the house, with check-out no later than 15:00.

No pets are permitted at any of the GoBundu houses. Loud music, parties, and functions are prohibited. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate. Noise is strictly not allowed between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply will result in a warning, and repeated non-compliance may lead to forfeiture of the breakage deposit and guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
