Tasteful, tranquil and well situated! We had a fabulous stay! Jo is a thoughtful host who provides the finer touches. The cottage is spacious, comfy, immaculate and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. Our little dog was welcome and we enjoyed our time there.

Relaxing with everything we needed for a break-away. A lovely open plan cottage with private entrance. Neat and clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Central with a short walk to the local shop and restaurant and to the river and beach. A lovely host who is a wealth of local info on where to have coffee, confectionery and dinner. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, safe and homely stay. We had a great stay at Amarula Cottage! supplied us with a fantastic welcome pack that includes all the information required. met us in person and made us feel super welcome. A lovely surprise was that firelighters and charcoal were provided, and as the weather was really great, we sat outside braaiing. The cottage has everything you need, and more. We felt really safe and at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Clean, quiet and cozy. Perfect to get away for a few days, clean, cozy and neat. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit A'marula Cottage again for a breakaway from city life. 10/10.

Lovely base from which to explore the area. The hostess is very helpful and friendly. Her knowledge of the area is excellent. The house has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again.

Good experience. Very nice cottage and lovely host. For a longer-term stay, I would miss an outdoor sitting area, but it is perfect for a short stay.
