House Rules

The property is self-check-in.
The accommodation is suitable for 2 adults only.
Children or infants are not allowed.
No day visitors are permitted.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. An ashtray is provided outside for cigarette ends.
No littering over the balcony into the fynbos.
No noise policy in place. No loud music or parties are permitted, and guests are asked to be considerate of noise levels after 20:00.
Firewood for the first start-up fire is provided.
Additional firewood is available at an extra cost.
All coals must be fully extinguished before leaving the fire unattended.
The property is accessible via a short gravel road that can be driven with a standard vehicle. Sports cars are not recommended.
Guests are requested to drive slowly, as the farm roads are lined with fruit trees.
A speed limit of 10 km/h applies on all farm roads.
Due to uneven terrain and stairs, the unit may not be suitable for elderly guests, or guests with disabilities.
The hot tub is for soaking only. To prevent damage to the filtration system, do not use any body soaps, bubble baths, or bath oils in the water.
The hot tub- and fireplace chimneys become very hot during use. Guests are advised not to touch them while hot.
This is an active, producing fruit farm. Farming operations continue throughout the year and are not only seasonal.
Guests may see workers and farm machinery moving along the roads and hear the normal sounds of a working farm. Complete isolation or silence should not be expected.
During spraying seasons, crop spraying is carried out. This work often takes place at night, as the treatment is only effective when weather conditions are optimal. Guests may occasionally hear the high-pitched sound of a tractor during these periods.
