Description

Bhejane Game Reserve is tucked away in the picturesque Groot River Valley, halfway between Steytlerville and Willowmore, on the western side of the Eastern Cape. Bhejane Game Reserve is just north of Baviaanskloof and offers visitors an experience of the bushveld life.

Accommodation comprises 3 Luxury River lodges( Leopard, Kudu and Eland lodge) , 1 Cycada tent lodge, 1 Big old Farm house, 1 off the grid Spekboom lodge and 2 campsites.

The Luxury River lodges are located right on the river bank, which is a great spot for freshwater fishing. Each lodge consist of a wood fire hot tub, aircon and super king bed.

Cycada tent lodge close to the Grootriver, overlooking the Grootriver mountain from your stoep. Glamping under the stars, with aircon and Nyala, Lechwe drinking water infront of your braai area.

Farmhouse, one big family house, with wide open space and a stoep to relax, Garden to play. Farmhouse is situated close to the lapa, bar and swimming pool and offers stunning views of the Grootrivier Mountains.

Spekboom lodge is our off the grid accommodation. Beautiful little lots-of-sun house close to the mountain for some explore and hiking. Lovely two bedroom, two bathroom house.

The campsite is located under a canopy of Acacia thorn trees.

All accommodation is self-catering and each facility is booked out exclusively, ensuring total privacy.

On-site facilities include a braai area, swimming pool, an airstrip, a curio shop and secure parking. Activities that guests can enjoy at the reserve include guided walks, birdwatching and game drivers.

Please note there is a rough gravel road on the way to the establishment.
