Black Cottage offers guests comfortably furnished overnight accommodation in Smithfield, 900 m from various shops and restaurants.

Guests have a choice of booking the Wisteria or Periwinkle units that can each accommodate up to 2 people, and have private entrances and open onto a stoep. The units are furnished with queen-size beds with cotton linen and have private bathrooms with showers. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided in each unit, and breakfast and a 3-course dinner are available on request at an additional cost.

In addition, the Wisteria can also accommodate 2 children on request at an additional cost and is located in a small fenced garden.

Guests can explore the small town of Smithfield on foot to view the Excentrix Vintage Collectibles, Red Barn Gallery, and a variety of national monuments, hike and bike in the hills and view the Bushmen paintings, and guests may even experience the snow in winter.
