Peaceful and joyful. Overall, I had a truly memorable holiday and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Betty's Bay. It offered everything I could have hoped for and more. I’ll definitely be back next time!

A superb weekend was had. Our best getaway thus far. Our stay was absolutely amazing. Our host was fantastic, and her dog was the friendliest four-legged companion. We were pleasantly surprised by the Betty's Bay Market that happens on the first Saturday of the month. Even better was the penguin sanctuary. All within walking distance from Chrysalis. Then there is the local butcher. Wow! A must-have selection for the braai (barbecue) you need to have. No TV? No problem. The tranquility and escape from city life is all that is needed. Pleasant, comfortable and good location. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The unit is well appointed and conveniently located, and we enjoyed the sound of the sea so close by. The host was welcoming, friendly, generous and helpful, and the garage parking for our car was an unexpected perk of this lovely B&B. We spent three nights there and would happily return.

Amazing! We absolutely loved our time at Chrysalis! The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and the accommodation was equipped with everything you would need to enjoy a relaxed weekend away from home. This accommodation is situated perfectly within Bettys Bay: walking distance to the best beaches, Stony Point Nature Reserve and penguin colony. My partner and I will be back 100% and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend away, immersed in nature, the beautiful fynbos!
