Clean & well appointed guesthouse. Centrally located with a great restaurant. We had a lovely stay at Die Blou Nartjie. The rooms were clean and well appointed. There was a minor plumbing issue when we arrived that was quickly fixed. Dinner at the restaurant exceeded our expectations - classic local food with the best lamb pie we have ever had. The guesthouse is perfectly located within walking distance of everything you might need in town. Would recommend for anyone travelling through Calvinia.

Excellent! Our first choice for an overnight stay in Calvinia. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Martha, who turned out to be a fabulous host. Her staff were friendly, helpful and alert to our needs. The dinner menu had a good selection of meals, and the food was generously portioned and delicious!
