Price Includes

Rates displayed are on a self-catering basis with heat-and-eat facilities. The facilities include including a gas stove, single-plate stove, microwave, convection air fryer, kettle, and toaster, as well as a braai area with a grill.

House Rules

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement only and must not be allowed on beds, sofas, or bedding.

Die Perdestal is situated on a working farm; guests should exercise caution when walking pets near machinery.

Sleeping arrangements for babies or toddlers (aged 1 to 2 years) can be discussed in advance.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors. Cigarette butts must be fully extinguished and disposed of in the outdoor bins.

Firewood is available near the fireplace, with additional wood purchasable at R90 per 15 kg bag by prior arrangement.

Guests must ensure all fires are completely extinguished due to the highly flammable environment.

Water is sourced from the mountain and rainwater; bottled water is recommended.

Guests must specify sleeping and room preferences in advance to ensure appropriate preparation and pricing. The default assumption is a main bedroom with en-suite for 2 guests and a main bedroom plus a loft with two singles for 4 guests.

Loadshedding affects electricity, Wi-Fi, and water pressure. A gas stove and candles are provided during outages.

The mobile signal is weak.

Only toilet paper may be flushed.

Guests may interact with horses only under the owner's supervision and must not feed them unfamiliar food.

Walking, cycling, and picnics are permitted on the farm. All gates must be closed after use.

No firearms or hunting are allowed.

The steep staircase and loft are used at guests’ own risk. Children must be supervised.

The owner’s dogs roam freely; guests with pets should ensure compatibility.

Seasonal insects and snakes may be present; pest control can be requested if needed.

No cleaning fee is charged; guests must leave the property in the condition found.

Any issues or requests should be reported promptly for resolution.

Use of the property and facilities is at guests’ own risk. The owner accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage.
