Fantastic. Just what we wanted. Off grid peace. We had a fantastic stay at Eagle's Nest. Stillness, great night skies, stunning scenery, total privacy tucked away in the valley there. We went to the river every day, did some paddling and one day we did a hike. It is off grid, cooking and warm water is with gas and WiFi is only available up by the main house - a 3-4 minute walk away. The cottage is absolutely quaint, well equipped with everything needed, nice details, great books. I highly recommend it for those who seek peace and no disturbances in a great setting.

Lovely quiet tranquil place. Definitely worth a revisit. Absolutely fantastic place. So quiet. Beautiful spot. Lovely booklet with history and interesting things about the area. Recommend it.

Cosmic Karoo Accommodation. Heavenly silence in seclusion where you can marvel at beautiful nature scenes from your porch. No cell phone, no TV, just nature sounds. 2 nights too short, would definitely recommend a longer stay. The basic necessities are there for a very comfortable stay. We will definitely come back again!
