Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Guests are provided with a starter pack for use on the day of arrival. This includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, basic cleaning detergents, and bathroom amenities. These items are not replenished during the stay.
A sufficient number of prepaid electricity units is supplied to cover the stay. Excessive use of air-conditioning or heating may deplete units more quickly. If units run out, additional usage will be at the guest’s expense. Electricity usage is capped at the average consumption rate for the apartment.
South Africa may experience load shedding, which results in temporary electricity outages. Guests are advised to download a load shedding schedule app to plan accordingly. Despite the presence of inverter systems, generators, and UPS systems, the property owner cannot be held liable for any system failures caused by prolonged load shedding.
Each guest is provided with a fitted sheet, duvet, bath towel, and hand towel.
Guests are required to bring personal login details for services such as DStv, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, as not all apartments provide login credentials.
This is a self-catering apartment and is not serviced during the stay. Additional cleaning or linen changes can be arranged directly with the host at an extra cost. For stays of more than 7 nights, a complimentary weekly refresh and linen change are included. The cleaning fee included in the booking covers departure cleaning only.
The signatory to these terms is responsible for the behaviour of all members of the group. Unacceptable behaviour, including excessive noise or loud music, will not be tolerated. The property is in a residential area, and non-compliance may result in the party being required to vacate the property immediately without refund.
Guests are responsible for any loss or damage to the property caused by their group, excluding reasonable wear and tear. The property must be cared for and left in a clean and tidy condition at departure. Possession of the property may not be transferred or shared with anyone not named in the booking agreement.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment. Any breach will result in immediate eviction without refund and possible withholding of the security deposit.
Alcohol may not be consumed in communal areas.
Children are welcome, but remain the full responsibility of their parents or guardians. The property owner accepts no liability for injuries sustained on the premises.
Only registered guests may enter the property. The number of overnight guests may not exceed the maximum stated in the booking. Breaching this rule may result in eviction without refund and possible withholding of the security deposit.
International plugs/converters are not provided. Guests must bring their own.
Renovations in neighbouring units may occur without prior notice and cannot be prevented during working hours.
Furnishings, window coverings, kitchen utensils, and appliances are the choice of the property owner and may vary between apartments.
Outdoor furniture may be stored indoors during strong winds. Guests are welcome to use it outside when weather permits. Strong winds may occasionally cause odours or whistling sounds in some apartments. If persistent, guests should contact their host.
Some apartments are located near restaurants and pubs, and noise may be heard.
Guests unsure of the apartment’s size should confirm with the host.
In-person check-ins after 19:00 incur an additional fee of R500.
Airport shuttles can be arranged at an additional cost.
