Best breakup if you're looking for no one around you! Quiet and peaceful, beautiful view. Exactly what we were looking for. A little expensive for what you get, we struggled to shower, the battery power is not sufficient for the water pump if you want to shower at night or early in the morning and the water pump has a loose connection. Other than that we have no complaints and really enjoyed our few days there!

Not worth it. Sonkop Cottage really has the potential to be a remarkable place, unfortunately in my opinion not yet so exploited and overpriced for what you get. We made a few complaints/recommendations to the owner when we left and it seemed as if the person could not really take the time to listen, so now I will mention it here: The plastic chairs on the porch are weathered in the sun and give off fiberglass pieces that get stuck in your legs and clothes when you sit on them. The pressure pump on the roof makes a terrible noise when the toilet is flushed or when a tap is opened. The lights dim and bright also when a tap is opened. I realize that it is an eco cottage that runs on solar power, but nevertheless. There were ditches in the dirt road on the way to the cottage and we ourselves gathered the farm workers with shovels and a tractor to close the ditches for us so that we could get to the house with the rental car and received no word of apology or check-in from the owner regarding the matter. Many thanks to the lovely farm workers who helped us solve the problem! They can also do a little finishing touches with a few things, e.g. new bathroom mats, etc.
