House Rules & Guest Guidelines
* Pets: We understand that pets are part of the family, which is why we welcome them. We kindly ask that you let us know in advance if you will be bringing a pet.
* Septic Tank: Our cottage runs on a septic system. To keep it healthy, only toilet paper may be flushed. No wipes, sanitary products, or other items.
* Solar Power: The cottage is powered by a solar system. Please do not plug in hairdryers, kettles, or other high-wattage appliances. Only laptops, phone chargers, and other low-power devices may be plugged in. Guests will be held liable for any damages to the solar system caused by improper use.
* Gas Heater: A gas heater is provided for your comfort. Please ensure it is turned off when not in use and never leave it unattended while lit. For safety reasons, do not move the heater, use it for cooking, or place any items on or near it. Guests are responsible for using the heater safely and will be held liable for any damage caused by misuse.
* Cooking: To maintain a fresh and pleasant atmosphere in the cottage, we kindly ask that strong-smelling foods (such as curries, fried fish, or other pungent dishes) are not cooked indoors.
* Refunds: We reserve the right not to refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or if funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
* Disclaimer & Liability: Guests stay at the property at their own risk. The owners will not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage to personal belongings that may occur during the stay. By booking, guests accept full responsibility for their own safety and that of their dependents, pets, and visitors.
