Description
The Fynbos Mountain View is lovely double-storey self-catering house nestled in a quiet suburb in Kleinmond just 1 km from the beach, and offering 360-degree mountain views, and a sea view on the horizon. The Kleinmond cliff path is an absolute must for evening sunset walks and the main beach is beautiful.
Fynbos Mountain View can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The second and third bedroom contains a double bed. These 2 rooms have use of a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is located upstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, a dishwasher and a breakfast bar with stools. There is an 8-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge features an indoor fireplace ( for Winter nights - not braaing) and a TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Disney) those looking for entertainment beyond the natural surroundings and beautiful beach. For those that need to stay in touch we have a desk space and Wi-Fi.
The living area leads to a large open balcony with lots of light and chipper birds; and one can actually hear the sea in the distance. The surroundings are really peaceful. The balcony has a patio table and chairs that seats 6, 3 Sun loungers with a large umbrella and a Weber braai.
The house has a fynbos garden which is stunning when in full bloom, and the property faces a green belt where children are regularly seen at play. The large balcony looks out into the mountain and the birds are regular visitors, often coming right into the house. The spot is any bird lovers dream.
