Description
Situated on the banks of the Breede River, just outside Swellendam, Gaia River Cabin offers an off-grid retreat with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Langeberg mountain range. This charming escape is ideal for a memorable family holiday.
The off grid, open-plan, fully furnished cabin accommodates up to 4 guests and is well-suited for families. It is furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed, has a private black pipe outdoor shower, a small kitchenette, with a 1 plate gas cooker, crockery, and cutlery. The cabin opens onto a lovely wooden deck with seating, offering stunning views of the river. The glampsite bathroom is close by and is fitted with a hot shower, a toilet, and a basin. There is no power or plug points in the cabin, lights are provided.
Guests have full access to a communal glampdeck and an outdoor kitchen, which has a 3 plate a gas cooker, a washbasin, and a central dining table, and a braai area, with a larger braai area at the firepit. The farm provides a variety of activities, including scenic walks, birdwatching, canoeing, fishing, and swimming in the river, paddle skis, river rope swing, and a jungle gym, ensuring an unforgettable outdoor experience.
