Description

Garden Route Trail House is a unique sanctuary for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains in Karatara, approximately 24 km from Sedgefield.

The house can accommodate 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, while the other 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet, and basin.

The fully equipped kitchen includes gas appliances like a stove, oven, and kettle. Guests can enjoy fresh water from the natural fountain or use the 20-litre purified water dispenser. The kitchen also has seating for family meals.

An honesty bar stocked with snacks and drinks is available, with payment settled at checkout. The cosy lounge features comfortable seating, a TV, and unlimited access to streaming services like Netflix and Disney+, supported by complimentary Wi-Fi. As the evening chill sets in, guests can enjoy the indoor fireplace, which heats the lounge and kitchen.

Garden Route Trail House also offers 2 outdoor entertainment areas: an undercover braai space with ample seating for gatherings and a deck for relaxing while enjoying stunning farm sunsets.
