Grootfontein Farm Self Catering Rustic Cottage is situated on a farm in Albertinia, making it the perfect getaway for nature-loving enthusiasts to experience the tranquillity and beauty of the farm.

This cottage sleeps up to 2 guests. It’s furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided.

The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave and toaster as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. The cottage also has a comfortable couch. Wi-Fi is available. Leading outdoors is a spacious garden with a veranda, braai facilities, and a picnic table.

There’s also a covered carport and the cottage is surrounded by stunning views of the farm and the surrounding countryside. There are 2 dams and a natural spring further up on the property and guests are welcome to take a walk.

Established in 1929, this historic 9-hole course is known for its challenging sand and oil greens, providing an unforgettable experience for players of all levels. You might even catch a glimpse of the renowned Louis Oosthuizen, who often returns to the course where he first honed his skills on his journey to global golfing success.
