Entering the valley of Clarens, The Titanic rock stands like a sentry to welcome all who visit the village and invites them to come and experience the warm-hearted hospitality of the inhabitants.
At Hannic's Retreat, accommodation is offered in a 3-bedroom, self-catering unit that can accommodate up to 6 guests. There are 2 bedrooms that are each furnished with a queen-size bed while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. All beds have electric blankets. The main bedroom features a heated en-suite bathroom. The second, full bathroom, with a separate toilet, is also heated for your comfort.
The lounge, dining room, and kitchen are in an open-plan layout. The lounge features a gas fireplace and a TV with Netflix and selected DStv channels. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering stay, featuring a fridge-freezer combination, a 4-plate gas stove with an electric oven, a dishwasher and a microwave. Outside, guests can relax on the verandah with a built-in braai facility while enjoying the mountain views. A single lock-up garage is also available.
The property is equipped with a back-up battery and a 5000L back-up water tank for additional convenience and reliability.
The centre of the village is a 7-minute stroll away where you will find a number of art galleries and a variety of shops offering a wide range of interior décor and souvenirs. There is also a number of coffee shops and restaurants for a late breakfast or dinner.
