Description

Heritage View Birding Retreat is a peaceful self-catering house on a farm along the banks of the Barberspan Nature Reserve, near Barberspan and Delareyville. Located just 2 km from the N14, this unit offers a unique opportunity for a tranquil and private stay, with ample parking space—even for the largest bush caravans.

Heritage View offers 2 accommodation options:

1-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit:
A section of the unit suitable for 2 guests, featuring a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed or 2 single beds, with a cot available on request. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower. Fresh bath and swimming towels are provided, along with luxury shampoo, body soap, and conditioner.

2-Bedroom Self-Catering Unit:
The entire unit, which includes 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, is ideal for 4 guests. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a luxurious bath. Fresh bath and swimming towels are provided, along with luxury shampoo, body soap, and conditioner.

The open-plan living area features comfortable seating, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge-freezer, single-plate induction stove, air fryer, microwave, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Guests can relax outside on the patio and enjoy the barbecue facilities while admiring the breathtaking views of Barberspan.

For guests needing to work, a dedicated study room with a study table and Wi-Fi throughout the unit is available.

Two breakfast options are offered: a premium continental breakfast or a DIY breakfast package. Guests can also enjoy pre-packaged hearty dinners, with seasonal meals available on request.

For nature lovers and birdwatchers, the property includes a private bird hide, offering a unique opportunity to observe a wide variety of bird species in their natural habitat, just 100 meters from a private entrance to the reserve.

To further enhance your experience, guided birdwatching tours are available by prior booking, with the chance to spot at least 70 species during a 4-hour tour—making Heritage View Birding Retreat an ideal getaway for bird lovers and those seeking peace and tranquility in nature.
