House Rules

The following Conservation Fees (which do not form part of our prices) are payable to Dinokeng Game Reserve North's online booking system. Proof of payment must be sent by email to info@lekkerbreeklodge.com 7 days before check-in. Please use this link where your conservation card will be issued:

Please remember to bring your Conservation Card, which must be presented at the Dinokeng gate and upon arrival at Lekkerbreek Lodge.
- 1 Night Stay (Adult): R75 per night
- 2 or more nights stay (Adults): R75 per night, subject to a maximum of R300 per person per continuous stay
- Children 2-12 years: R50 per night, subject to a maximum of R200 per child per continuous stay
- Once-off fee of R50 per car. Each car must be registered separately.

A breakage deposit of R1500 is payable to the host, and proof of payment must be sent via email at least 7 days before check-in.

Please note that the property accommodates 12 guests. If any additional children are added, an extra fee will be payable to the establishment.

Guests can purchase additional firewood from the host or bring their own.

3 bags of firewood are provided daily.

Guests must adhere to road signs, directions, and rules within the Dinokeng Game Reserve.

The speed limit in the reserve is 20 km/h.

Only game-viewing vehicles are allowed on game drives, and passengers must remain seated.

Fishing is not permitted in the reserve.

Motorcycles and quad bikes are prohibited within the reserve.

Due to the Big 5, no guests are allowed outside the camp area - no guests are allowed to walk, run, jog or cycle outside the camp in the reserve.
Due to the presence of the Big 5, we advise guests not to enter or exit the campsite between 21:00 and 06:00. Arrangements can be made should you need to enter or leave.

Littering in the reserve is not allowed.

Guests are not allowed to feed any animals.

Do not remove plants or wood from the game reserve.

Guests must take extreme caution to prevent fires in the game reserve.

Please note that all guests are expected to accept and follow the house rules.

All guests must be escorted by the property representative from and to the gates.

The camp is not suitable for large functions or additional guests.

Smoking indoors is prohibited.

Guests should avoid making large fires in the firepit, move braai coals to the designated area, and never leave fires unattended during game drives.

Fires must be covered with the drum provided.

Rubbish must be placed in the designated bins upon returning from a game drive.

Noise levels should be kept to a minimum, considering nearby camps when playing music.

Pets are not allowed.

Game drives are available at an additional cost and are guided by a qualified game ranger for a maximum of 10 guests. For safety reasons, no children under the age of 5 are permitted.

Please note the housekeepers are available from 07:00 until 18:00.
