House Rules

Children and infants are welcome at the property.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is strictly prohibited.
No parties or gatherings are permitted at any time.
Groups consisting of solo travellers are only accepted by prior arrangement. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are not permitted.
Noise levels must be kept to a minimum, particularly between 21:00 and 07:00 on weekdays and 22:00 and 07:00 on weekends.
No shouting or hooting is permitted in the street at any time.
Only on-street parking is available.
Please note that the property can only be reached by descending a flight of 60 stairs.
Although children are welcome, guests with young children should be aware of potential safety risks such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and should exercise all due care and attention.
South Africa may experience scheduled electricity outages, known as loadshedding. These disruptions can last for 2.5 hours or longer. While many property owners have implemented measures to reduce the impact, we encourage guests to download the EskomSePush (ESP) Loadshedding App to plan accordingly. Loadshedding is outside the control of the host and property owner, and no refunds or discounts will be issued in relation to power interruptions.
For monthly stays, electricity costs will be the guest’s responsibility. Daily housekeeping is not included but may be arranged and paid for separately if available. Standard amenities, including Wi-Fi and DSTV where applicable, are included. Reasonable water usage is covered and monitored according to current city regulations. Garden and pool maintenance will be provided when permitted.
