House Rules

All guests must provide valid identification at check-in or in advance. South African guests should provide a driver’s license or a valid passport plus proof of residence such as a cellphone or municipal bill. International guests should provide a driver’s license or valid passport. Entry will not be allowed without the above.

The property is equipped with an inverter for emergency lights and TV. Wi-Fi remains active during load shedding. Bedside lamps have rechargeable bulbs. Devices can be charged, and gas cooking is available.

Professional third-party cleaners are available between 10:00 and 14:00 upon request. For security reasons, no outside cleaning services may be used. Guests must vacate the apartment or minimise their presence during cleaning. Towels and linen should be left on the beds at checkout and not stripped.

Only registered guests may check in. IDs and passports will be cross-checked with booking details. Keys will only be handed to the booking guest once all guests are present.

Lockboxes or safes are provided in the bedrooms. Maximum occupancy is four guests. Security will report violations, and entry may be remotely disabled. Parking is available in the basement at number 96, dedicated, with overflow parking upstairs near security.

Refuse is collected on Mondays and Thursdays and should be left outside the door. On other days, guests should use the large green bins behind the white security gate.

Check-in is from 15:00 to 19:00. Check-out is strictly before 10:00. No luggage storage is available.

Guests must avoid wet feet or sand in the lifts. Smoking is permitted only on the balcony. Quiet hours are after 22:30. No parties, hen or stag events, or disruptive behaviour are allowed.

The property has no air conditioning. Summer is cooled by the Atlantic breeze, and heaters are provided for winter.

The booking guest is responsible for all members of the group. Deposits or card charges will apply for any damages.

Any serious breach of the rules may result in remote lock-out and removal from the property under security supervision.
