Mela Luxury Game Lodge is an exclusive safari lodge situated within the Dinokeng Game Reserve in the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, near Pretoria in Gauteng Province.
Previously known as Letsomong Lodge, this intimate retreat offers a variety of accommodations, including air-conditioned safari suites, signature stone-capped chalets, and 3 self-catering units. The lodge caters to solo travellers, couples, families, social groups, and corporate clients alike.
Guests can relax in the tranquil setting, making use of the spa, swimming pool, and lounge area. For those seeking adventure, the lodge offers guided game drives led by experienced rangers, providing memorable wildlife encounters. Quad bike trails are also available and are ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends looking to explore the surrounding bushveld.
Mela Luxury Game Lodge also serves as a venue for weddings and conferences. The property features a chapel and 2 event halls: Nyadiwa Hall, which accommodates up to 200 guests, and Dalson Hall, suitable for smaller gatherings of up to 100 guests. Both spaces are supported by catering options and a refreshments bar. Dalson Hall also functions as a conference venue, equipped for meetings, seminars, and team-building events.
