House Rules

Housekeeping is provided Monday to Friday mornings, excluding weekends and public holidays, and is available on request for an additional cost.

Children and infants are welcome.

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking is prohibited.

Parties are not allowed.

Guests will be required to sign a separate guest registration form prior to arrival to facilitate check-in.

South Africa experiences load-shedding, which means electricity may be interrupted for periods of 2.5 hours or more without advance notice. Most property owners have taken steps to minimise disruption. Guests are encouraged to download the “ESP – The Loadshedding App” to stay informed of scheduled outages. Neither the agency nor the property owner will be responsible for refunds, compensation, or discounts due to load-shedding, as this is beyond their control.

The apartment is in a quiet residential area with strict noise rules set by the body corporate and city council:

No parties of any kind.

No noise or music audible to neighbours between 21:00 and 07:00 on weekdays, and between 22:00 and 07:00 on weekends.

No hooting or shouting in the streets at any time.

Visitors should be informed that parking is limited and must not block driveways or garages.

Guests must have comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation and theft cover.

No groups of solo travellers unless approved. Bachelor or bachelorette parties are not permitted.

Children are welcome, but there are potential safety risks such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests with children stay at their own risk and are urged to supervise carefully.
