Breakage Deposit

House Rules

- There are outside security cameras.
- There is an inverter back up electricity supply for loadshedding. There is also a gas stove top. All the geysers run off gas.
- 1x Smart TV in the TV lounge, no Dstv.
- Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1250 management fee and R 2000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT.
- R 250 in cash upon check-in for late check-in fee if arriving after 18h00.
- A maximum of 3 people sharing: 1 Bedroom with King size bed plus single bed in the lounge. Please do not exceed this number on any given night.
- This accommodation isn’t equipped to be child friendly. No baby cots or high chairs are provided at the apartment, please bring your own with. Do take care of small children at this property as there are no safety barriers on the stairs or railings, also there is no safety net on the swimming pool. The owners and property management company will not be held responsible or liable in any way, for any incidents or accidents on the property.
- Linen, bath & beach/swimming towels are provided – please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels.
- Regret, no pets are allowed on the property.
- No smoking indoors, please discard of cigarettes in astray provided and not on the patio, gardens or down toilets.
- Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please.
- Noise policy: Milkwood Beach Apartment is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. We kindly request that loud music, parties or any excessive noise be avoided at all times, to preserve the serene and tranquil setting. No loud music or noise will be tolerated and the owners and property management company reserves their rights.
- A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time.
- Housekeeping service is not included - it is optional extra. Please advise us well in advance if you require this service as it is outsourced and subject to availability at time of enquiry.
- This accommodation is fully self-catering. Kindly provide your personal consumables.
- There is only street parking available. Parking your car is at your own risk.
- Sharing the same property as Milkwood Beach Apartment is a self-catering villa (above the apartment) as well as another self-contained apartment, all have their own private entrances and do not look onto one another. They are available to book together for a family or group of friends travelling together: Milkwood Beach Villa and Frida On The Beach. All 3 units share a common / same entrance off the street side/beach boardwalk.
- Direct access from the property onto the sand is for the guests of Milkwood Beach Apartment.
Access to the beach is via a private gate from the property right onto the sand. Alternatively, there is a side gate from the property, sharing the communal boardwalk just a few steps onto the sand.
