The 'Nerf-af' effect: Our perfect cottage stay. Our recent stay at Nerf-af Cottage was an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility that instantly melted away the stresses of city life. The warm and personal greeting, complete with a tour and a delicious loaf of fresh sourdough bread, was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome right away. The cottage itself is a masterpiece of design. The decor is simply stunning, with every piece thoughtfully chosen to create an atmosphere that is both rustic and elegant, perfectly fitting the cottage environment. It manages to be incredibly spacious while still feeling wonderfully cozy and intimate – a true home away from home. Our little Yorkie was in heaven, too! The cottage is brilliantly pet-friendly, and the convenient side gate leading directly onto a park area was a fantastic bonus, giving her plenty of space to run and play safely. One of the best aspects of Nerf-af Cottage is its perfect location. Nestled in the quaint and charming area of Onrus, we were just a five-minute drive from the heart of Hermanus. This allowed us to easily enjoy the festival atmosphere without being caught in the hustle and bustle. Instead, our evenings were quiet, and our days were spent exploring the lovely local coffee shops and enjoying the peaceful neighbourhood vibe. Our stay was simply perfect, and we are already planning our next visit. If you are looking for a serene, beautiful, and welcoming retreat, look no further than Nerf-af Cottage. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Nerf-af Cottage and Rooms is tops! Die verblyf by Nerf-af Cottage and Rooms was uit die boonste rakke! Die gasheer en gasvrou is vriendelik en behulpsaam, die kamer was netjies en het alles wat jy nodig het. Ek kan dit enige tyd aanbeveel en ons sal weer daar bly!

Excellent and well priced for what you get. We stayed in the Queens Room and it was beyond perfect. The host's attention to detail and sense of style is quirky and fun, and the room was immaculately cleaned. All the amenities you need are at hand. We had loadshedding while we were there, but our lights were on and we functioned normally. The hostess is a bundle of joy, beyond friendly, and at our first meeting felt like family. The area is very safe, high-end and well situated to all the surrounding areas/restaurants like Riposo (Italian), Sams, and might we say that a breakfast at "Milk" is a must-do. Thank you for being the perfect hosts. 10/10 star rating.
