House Rules

OppiPlaas is a bush camp without facilities. It is not a normal caravan park.

Matric end-of-year or 21st birthday parties are not allowed.
No under-21s are allowed without adult supervision.
Music or noise will not be tolerated.

Campers must be self-contained.
Borehole water that is suitable for drinking is available at every camping spot.
Power generators are prohibited unless they are silent generators.
Fires must be put out to prevent wildfires.
Regrettably, there is no electricity, dishwashing or ablution facilities.
Flush toilets are available in the communal entertainment area.

There is a 7 km gravel road leading to the property, and vehicles with low-profile tyres and/or sports cars may experience difficulties. Guests are advised to enquire about the condition of the gravel road before checking in, as it may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Guests may at an additional cost payable to Dinokeng, drive in the reserve with their own vehicles.
There is the option of a 4x4 route and a normal sedan route.
