Description
The Guinea Fowl Cottage is a charming self-contained chalet located 120m from the river. A short walk across the lawns brings you to the riverfront, where you can relax and enjoy the serene views. The cottage accommodates 2 adults and a child and is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, basin, and bath. A child-only mattress or couch is provided. The cottage is solar-powered and features a Smart TV with free Wi-Fi. Guests are required to bring their own battery-powered lights. Please use power conservatively after dark. On cloudy and rainy days, power may be unavailable between 23:30 and 06:30.

Description
The Porcupine Room is annexed to the Otters’ Den River House but does not share any of its facilities. The room is furnished with a double bed and a single bed and includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, basin, and bath. The kitchenette is located on the verandah and is equipped with a two-plate gas stove, a microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A Smart TV with Netflix is available, and guests have access to free Wi-Fi. A gas heater can be provided at reception for an additional fee. When booked as a separate unit, the Porcupine Room is ideal for nature and adventure enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat; however, it does not include access to the swimming pool. For larger groups of 7 or more, the Porcupine Room is booked in addition to the Otters’ Den River House, and guests then have full access to all shared facilities.

Description
The Otters’ Den is a basic yet charming rustic house situated on the banks of the river. It features 3 bedrooms: 1 room is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, and a double bunk bed; the second room has a double bed; and the third is equipped with 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms, each fitted with a toilet, basin, and bath. The spacious main bedroom boasts beautiful views of the river. The house includes a large open-plan kitchen equipped with the essentials for self-catering, as well as a sun porch and a private swimming pool. The cosy lounge offers a log fireplace and a Smart TV with Netflix. A generous patio with a pool table and an outdoor braai area overlooking the river adds to the tranquil, comfortable atmosphere. The unit can accommodate up to seven guests. Guests are advised to bring extra blankets and warm clothing for winter nights. Additional units are available for larger groups, with easy access to the main social areas. Groups of 8 to 10 guests are required to book the additional Porcupine Room, which is attached to the Otters’ Den River House. Groups of 10 to 12 guests will also need to book the Guinea Fowl Cottage, located just a short walk across the lawns.
