Overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, Paquita Cottage is a self-catering house for 4 people in The Heads, Knysna.

The spacious house comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a lounge, and opens onto patio. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a double sink. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, and makes use of a bathroom with a bath, a shower, and a toilet. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own beach towels.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar, or on the patio. A dishwasher and a washing machine are also available for guests to use.

Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with a full selection of DStv channels and Wi-Fi is available that is supported by a UPS system.

The lounge opens onto a wooden deck that overlooks the Heads and lagoon. There is an electric braai and an outdoor braai which can only be utilised with briquettes. Woodfires are, unfortunately, not allowed. Paquita Cottage is a non-smoking establishment.

The house is accessed via 5 flights of wooden stairs from the carport, and guests need to be able to climb stairs comfortably. Unfortunately, children under the age of 6 or pets cannot be accommodated due to the height of the deck, and there is no garden. Parking is available in a double carport and is not suitable for large trailers.

Knysna offers various activities such as hiking, walking trails, mountain biking and 4x4 trails, horse-back riding, fishing, and whale watching between June and October. Guests can also take a ferry and explore the Featherbed Nature Reserve or visit the Knysna Elephant Park.
