Very beautiful view for those who like to stay in a mountain reserve and who love real nature. Fantastic! There is not a single thing wrong; everything I must say is 5 star.

The best place to stay in Stanford. It's always brilliant. This is the 5th time we have stayed at Phillipskop. The views are incredible, the cottages are roomy, bright and have everything you need, and the grounds are magnificent. You'll be based on the side of a mountain and there are lots of fantastic walks which include a waterfall and a cave with Khoi San paintings. When you turn your lights out at the end of the evening, it is pitch dark and there isn't a single sound. A great mix of relaxation and adventure.

Lovely family feel and fabulous nature walks with friends and family. Great stay, some issues with hot water and fridge but it was attended to quickly.

Perfect getaway venue for a family. Spacious, well-equipped cottages with interesting hiking trails, particularly the Klipspringer ascent of Phillipskop. The reserve is focused on eco behaviour and has volunteers doing alien vegetation clearing.

Beautiful quiet mountain retreat where one can recharge one's batteries. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Phillipskop. The chalets are very spacious with lots of sunlight and views over the mountains and valley. We did a fantastic hike over the mountain to Teseelarsdal.

Disappointing due to lack of communication. Our stay was lovely but unfortunately, early check-out was not communicated to us until Sunday morning and an hour and a half before they wanted us to check out. This meant our plans of a hike in the nature reserve could not happen - which is one of the main reasons we booked at Phillipskop. Our plan was to check out at 3:00 pm, as stated in our welcome PDF and website, but there was a booking for the Sunday night, which wasn't communicated to us. Very upsetting. If I could also recommend, a second drying cloth, fixing the water settings in the shower, and cleaning the lounge suite.

A perfect mountain getaway. The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equipped. A stunning setting surrounded by fynbos with unobstructed views of the valley makes this the perfect getaway.

Beautiful nature scenery and a brilliant guided nature walk. We really enjoyed our stay at Phillipskop Mountain Reserve. I, as a nature lover, especially enjoyed our guided nature walk with the owner who is very knowledgeable about Fynbos and the plants on the farm. We did the 3-hour walk (my other travelers did not want to do the longer walk).
