A valid (i) SAMSA issued Skippers License; (ii) annual watercraft COF; and (iii) current buoyancy certificate is required (a 'must') by SANPARKS aforesaid, which issues river permits.

A public slipway is 750 m away. A daily access fee is levied at the entrance gate.
