Definitely a great place to stay as a family or group of friends. We had an amazing time as a family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children - away in Dinokeng for a long weekend, staying all together at Sambane Bush Lodge. From arrival to departure, our stay was wonderful. The lodge had everything that we possibly needed, and the staff looking after us were lovely; Frans was helpful, polite and friendly, as were the ladies who came in to clean in the morning - it was such a treat! The facilities were very family-friendly and the kids - large and small - had a ball, in the pool, around the pool table and in the park. Lots of walks around the site, with bird viewing, seeing game visiting the water holes beyond the fence and easy access to self-drives at all times of the day. The mommies and daddies were treated to an awesome game drive with De Wet, while we looked after the grandkids. Highly recommended for families and large groups.
