Description

Nestled on 30 hectares next to the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, Sani Lodge and Cottages offers a perfect getaway for couples, families, and nature lovers. Choose from a variety of self-catering cottages and rondavels, all designed for comfort and relaxation.

Cottages and rondavels feature fully equipped kitchens, cozy living areas with log fireplaces, feather duvets with electric blankets, heating, and private braai facilities. Aloe and Honeyguide cottages include private wood-fired hot tubs with mountain views, while Kingfisher and Woodpecker rondavels also boast hot tubs and stunning scenery. Hot tubs take 3–5 hours to heat, so please notify reception in advance (earliest ready time: 1 pm).

Guests have access to a swimming pool, a deck with sunset views, and a central lounge with a braai area. Daily family activities include Paint on Clay, and tours up Sani Pass into Lesotho can be arranged through Drakensberg Adventures.

The lodge’s on-site restaurant and bar serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cake, cocktails, draft beer, and local wines. The Craft and Farm Supplies Shop sells locally made crafts, ceramics, and fresh dairy products produced on-site from Jersey cows, including cheese, yoghurt, butter, and ice cream.

Sani Lodge offers the ideal blend of adventure, relaxation, and comfort in the heart of the majestic Drakensberg.
