Schaftplaas is located just 20 km from Langebaan and offers farm-style self-catering accommodation and a wedding and events venue on a historic West Coast farm. Schaftplaas gives you the opportunity to experience the ambience and rustic charm of a real West Coast farm environment while retaining the style and elegance required to make your stay an unforgettable success.

Accommodation is offered in 5 luxurious self-catering cottages that are equipped for comfort. The old worldly and unique character of each cottage will simply steal your heart. Apart from its comfortable beds, each cottage has a well-equipped kitchenette, including a gas stove and microwave oven, a cosy lounge area and an undercover patio with a table and chairs. Linen, towels and basic amenities are provided.

The cottages share a communal braai area and garden. Separate braai drums and braai areas are also available.

Facilities at Schaftplaas include a private bar area for guests only, a conference centre, and complete function and event facilities that can cater for up to 200 guests.

Nearby activities include horse riding, fishing, Big 5, bird watching, cycling, game drives, game viewing, guided walks, mountain biking, swimming and tennis.
