Description
Soloko Wildplaas offers comfortable, affordable, and quality accommodation on a game farm in the shade of the Zuuranys Mountains, approximately 20 km from Kareedouw in the Baviaanskloof region.
Self-catering accommodation is offered in 8 stone chalets, 6 wooden chalets, and a Main House that can accommodate 17 guests. The stone chalets each sleep between 3 and 5 guests. Three wooden chalets each sleep 2 guests, one sleeps 4 guests, and one sleeps 3 guests. Each chalet has a kitchen area, braai (barbecue) area, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. We also have 3 hall rooms, each sleeping 2 guests, with their own bathroom and kitchen area. The "Raas & Rus" apartment sleeps 4 guests and is equipped with a kitchen and a bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as a lounge area.
Guests in the stone chalets use a communal kitchen and boma, while the wooden chalets and guest rooms each have a small kitchen equipped with a two-plate stove, microwave, mini-fridge, cutlery, and crockery. The Main House, which accommodates 17 guests, has a living area with a lounge, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. This unit also features a covered porch with private braai facilities.
The lodge has a pool area with communal braai facilities, outdoor seating, and a jungle gym for children. The farm is home to a variety of wildlife including camp ponies, impalas, zebras, nyalas, red hartebeests, blesboks, blue wildebeests, and warthogs.
