Starfish View is a secluded self-catering home in the secure Grotto Bay Private Nature Reserve, offering a peaceful West Coast escape just an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Surrounded by untouched fynbos with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, it’s the perfect retreat to relax, reconnect with nature, and experience the rugged beauty of the coastline. From August to September, the reserve transforms into a vibrant display of wildflowers, attracting nature lovers and photographers from all over.

The spacious home can accommodate up to 6 guests and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has access to a separate bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable bedding and ample storage space.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area forms the heart of the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and all necessary cutlery, crockery, and cookware. The dining table seats 10 guests, making it perfect for shared meals or games, while the lounge area features comfortable seating and a wall-mounted TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Large sliding doors open onto a spacious, north-facing patio with outdoor seating, a dining area, and braai facilities. Guests can cool off in the private splash pool or simply relax while enjoying the sea breeze and uninterrupted ocean views.
