Sterland Skrywershuisie is a cosy 2-bedroom cottage situated on the edge of the town Sutherland.

Ideal for 4, each of the 2 rooms are furnished with a double bed and shares the use of a bathroom containing a bath and a shower. The cottage has a kitchen that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a stove and oven as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The lounge is comfortably furnished and has a cosy fireplace as well as a TV with M-Net and sports channels. An undercover braai area is available for use, and parking is provided on the property.

Bookings are essential for stargazing events that are hosted by Jurg between 20:00 and 22:00 almost every night. A short lecture is given, after which Jurg takes guests to the 6 x 11-inch telescopes. Visitors can also take a tour of the Dutch Reformed Church, the NP van Wyk Louw Museum, visit the observatory house to view the largest telescope in the Southern Hemisphere, or drive the scenic Ouberg Pass.
