Description
Sun Acres Farm offers a family-friendly retreat within the malaria-free Dinokeng Game Reserve. Guests can enjoy cosy bush and farm-style accommodation in a tranquil and intimate setting. The farm is conveniently located, just a 40-minute drive from Pretoria North, an hour from Johannesburg, and 7 km from Camp Discovery.
Accommodation is offered in various units with sleeping capacities ranging which are each tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds. Each unit has its own private bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
A variety of activities are available on the farm. From observing animals from the comfort of the patio to engaging in leisure activities like darts and the jungle gym, visitors have plenty of options. The swimming pool provides a space to unwind, and the camp offers accommodation for up to 15 guests with five different units. The presence of a solar system ensures that guests can enjoy their stay without the inconvenience of loadshedding. The farm also features a bar area next to the pool, equipped with board games, a TV with DStv and Netflix, and a dartboard, making it a great spot to relax. Guests are encouraged to bring their own drinks to enjoy by the pool. Free Wi-Fi is available in the pool area for convenience. Additionally, there are several bomas and braai facilities, perfect for social gatherings and outdoor cooking.
Visitors can embark on either a self-drive route or a guided game drive through the Big 5 Reserve to witness magnificent wildlife. There’s also the opportunity to join a drive during feeding time for a closer experience.
