Description

Sunset Lodge & Safaris is situated on the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve in the Limpopo province, approximately 40 km from Orpen Gate in Kruger National Park.

We have 8 individually decorated rooms which offer accommodation for up to 18 people. The bedrooms are furnished with either twin beds, a queen-size bed or one king-size bed. One of the rooms has 2 double beds. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 bathrooms with showers and 4 with showers and baths. Six of the rooms lead to a courtyard with a swimming pool. The Semi-tented Bush Cabin can accommodate 2 guests. The unit is away from the lodge in the bush and has its own bathroom and an outside shower.

The rate includes dinner, DB&B and it is served in the open-plan restaurant, the braai area or the bush braai area. There is a 120 m² deck with a bar area that offers views of the watering hole and the Drakensberg mountains, and in the courtyard, you'll find a swimming pool with sun loungers and braai facilities where delicious braai meals are prepared for guests. This lodge is now also powered by solar and has a solar and battery back-up system so the lights are always on!

Activities on-site include bird watching and bush walks.

There are many exciting activities in the immediate vicinity to do, such as a Quad Bike Safari, Blyde River Canyon boat rides and a guided bush walk, day safari to the Kruger National Park. We help guests to make bookings for any of the above-mentioned activities. Some of the activities are within 20 km of the lodge.
