Holiday with the kids. The house is lovely and the pool is big compared to other units. The beds are extremely comfy, however the pillows are so big and high it makes for sore necks the next day. There is no boma which is such a pity as there is plenty of space for one and for us as a family that is the best part of being in the bush at night. The house is very private and offers peace and quiet for miles with stunning views. The cleaning service charge in the booking is for services of cleaning the house after you have left. If you want cleaning done it is an extra charge daily of R250. There is a R1000 refundable breakages fee that is refundable, however we waited a week to get it back after asking for it twice. Our only major complaint was that the sewerage was leaking and it made sitting outside or swimming impossible because of the smell. We did alert Lynette to the matter and she said someone would come out the next day. We don't know if anyone did as we were on game drives most of the day. The evening when we returned the smell was worse and coming into the house from all the drains. Eating dinner was very difficult. We had to light a wood fire in the braai room to try mask the smell.
