What a serene and peaceful stay surrounded by nature! What a beautiful restful stay we had. The surroundings are absolutely serene and peaceful, and the accommodation was clean and well-kept. When camping, glamping is the way to go.

Relaxing. Beautiful. Euphoric. It was such a beautiful area and a perfect place to unwind and just take in the joys of the outdoors whether you want to just sunbathe or take a beautiful walk! My partner and I enjoyed it so much and will definitely return for an even longer stay!

We do advertise that we have a main braai area at the firepit space and another braai at the glampdeck; we don't advertise that the campsites each have their own braai space. Sadly, we did lose a few keyhole firepits in the last floods, so we will build more when we are able to. We do have 2 ablutions, 1 in the campsite and 1 at the glampdeck, which has a hot shower and toilet, which everyone is welcome to use, and we do advertise as such. It's definitely on our to-do list to build more hot showers and toilets when we are able to. We have a long list of improvements we are working towards; we are ever evolving

Wonderful, but midges & mosquitoes a real problem. Really lovely accommodation and wonderful guests. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes and midges were a terrible problem and would prove the only reason for not referring or returning to an otherwise gem of a spot!

Hi Casey, thanks so much for your feedback. These mosquitoes and midges were definitely out when you were here, unfortunately, and I understand they were annoying. They are cyclical, and not consistent, but due to our recent flooding, they do appear at times to be worse than last year. I am sure as the water settles even more, they should calm down. We have just recently added mosquito mesh to the windows in the Aframe, plus mosquito nets for the beds. We always make sure there are a few options of mosquito repellent available in the Aframe cabin and on the glampdeck, and also do request for guests to bring their mosquito repellent of choice, and always advise guests to use the mosquito repellent straight away.
