Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

The full rental amount must be paid to the property management company at least 30 days before arrival, along with a R1500 management fee and a R3000 refundable breakage deposit. International guests must pay the deposit in cash on arrival; local guests must pay via EFT in advance. A R200 cash late check-in fee applies after 18h00.

The house accommodates a maximum of 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. Exceeding this number is not allowed. Children of all ages are welcome, but there are no safety barriers on stairs or at fireplaces. Guests must bring their own baby camp cot and high chair.

Linen and bath towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach or swimming towels.

There is no inverter or backup power during loadshedding, but rechargeable lights are provided.

Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only, subject to owner approval. Pet policy applies. The property is not wheelchair accessible.

No smoking is permitted indoors. Cigarettes must be disposed of in ashtrays, not in the garden or toilets.

No parties or events are permitted. No loud music or noise after 22h00. Unruly behaviour may result in eviction without a refund. The Glass Deck House is in a quiet residential area; guests must respect the peace and the neighbours.

A cleaning surcharge may apply if the house is left in poor condition or if check-out is delayed. The house uses a septic tank; only toilet paper and human waste may be flushed. Use septic-friendly cleaning materials.

Housekeeping is not included but can be arranged in advance at an extra cost and is subject to availability.

This is a self-catering property. Guests must bring their own consumables.

Pet Policy:

Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. A cleaning fee applies if this rule is broken or if carpets require cleaning after departure.

Dogs must be supervised at all times. The garden is enclosed, but owners are fully responsible for their pets.

Guests must clean up after their dogs.

Please bring your own dog beds, blankets and feeding bowls.
